We had a great discussion on the Parable of the Wise and Foolish Builders! Be sure to ask your child what type of foundation there soul house is built upon. For Friday, October 28, please read Chapters 30-32 in The Child's Story Bible. We are going to continue to work on the Ten Commandments in class. Please read this assignment before class it is very important for class discussion! Thanks!

We had a great discussion on Friday about Jesus being the Bread of Life! Today, we are going to do something a little different. I want the class to discuss the parable of the Wise and Foolish Builders. It is not in The Child's Story Bible. Please read Matthew 7:24-29 with your child for Tuesday, October 25. We are still finishing up the NT books of the Bible, but are beginning to learn the Ten Commandments beginning on Tuesday. Let me know if you need to borrow my music. Can't wait to see you tomorrow!

For Friday, October 21st please read Chapter 28 and 29 in the New Testament of The Child's Story Bible. We are going to give our NT books memorization one more week. They are doing so well! I want them to begin to memorize the Ten Commandments in song next. Please let me know if you do not have the Classical Conversation CD to help at home. Good morning! Please be sure to read Chapter 25 and 26 in The Child's Story Bible. We are also ready to finish learning all the NT books of the bible! I can't wait to see everyone tomorrow!

Good morning everyone! Gentle reminder: please read your Bible story before class. We are diving into some NT stories that the children have never heard of. It makes a great family devotion or right before you get to work on school to help have a teachable spirit. For Friday, October 14th, please read Chapter 24 in your Child's Story Bible. I also believe we are ready to complete our memorization of the NT books of the Bible. They are such bright children! Be sure to ask your child who Jesus is, that even the wind and waves obey Him! We had an awesome conversation about the Parable of the Sower and the condition of  our hearts. Be sure to ask your child if their actions bear the fruit of believing in Jesus Christ. Please read Chapter 23 in your Child's Story Bible for Tuesday, Oct. 11th. We are also working on the NT books of the Bible through the book of James. Everyone received a Banana point from Mrs. Machtley for reciting the OT books. What an accomplishment! I hope you have all had a blessed weekend. I look forward to  seeing you on Tuesday!

For Friday, Oct. 7th, please read Chapter 22 in your Child's Story Bible.  We are going to be starting on Parables. Also, have them memorize the NT books through 1 and 2 Thessalonians.
