Jesus answered, "I am the Way and the Truth and the Life. No one comes to the Father but through me." John 14: 6

Good morning everyone! Friday we had a great discussion about how merciful God is that He sent his Son so that we could have eternal life with Him. We also talked about how blessed we were that we had a way at all through Jesus to be in a right relationship with God. For Tuesday, November 15, please read Luke 14:1, 7-14 for class. Please keep working on your Ten Commandments. See you tomorrow!

" 'Sir, ' the man replied,'leave it alone for one more year(the fig tree), and I'll dig around it and fertilze it. If it bears fruit next year, fine! If not then cut it down.' " Luke 13:8 - 9

We had another great discussion yesterday! Everyone is trying with God's help to be more fruitful for Him! Our homework for Friday, November 11, is  to read Luke 13: 22 - 30. Please continue to recite your Ten Commandments! Remember reading the scripture before we meet is very important to our level of class participation! See you on Friday!

Then (Jesus) said to them,"Watch out! Be on your guard against all kinds of greed; a man's life does not consist in the abundance of possessions."

I hope everyone is doing well. We had a timely discussion about our parable of the rich fool this week as Christmas decorations start popping up all over. I challenged the class to really think about the abundance of blessings they had and how they could share not just their things, but their time, talents, and most of all their faith. I encourage everyone to watch the movie The Christmas Carol as you relax over Thanksgiving break. Our homework for Tuesday, November 8 is to read Luke 13:1 - 9. We are continuing to learn about parables not found in our blue bible. Today I will be sending home a participation grade for my class. Be on the lookout!

(Jesus) answered,"Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind and love your neighbor as yourself."

I hope all is well with you. We had a lively discussion about who exactly is our neighbor and how do we love them. My challenge was to start at home! We will be taking a break from The Child's Story Bible this week. For Friday, November 4, please read Luke: 12:13 - 21 for homework. Please keep working on the Ten Commandments.I look forward to seeing you on Friday. Once again, it is important for your child to have read this scripture before class so that they can participate in our discussion. Thanks for your commitment to your child's spiritual growth.
